Managing Audits

The HubCreate Audit Tool allows you to quickly request detailed audits of your clients' HubSpot portals. Audits provide insights across marketing, sales, and CRM health, helping you identify quick wins and optimization opportunities.

How to Request a New Audit:

  1. Step 1 - Initiate the Audit Request: From the Audit History page, click on the Request Audit button. Select the HubSpot client account you want to audit and enter the client's main website domain. This ensures that the audit can properly validate tracking and DNS information.
  2. Step 2 - Choose Audit Options: Select whether you want to audit Marketing Hub data, Sales Hub data, or both. You can also define the reporting timeframe (1, 3, or 6 months) which determines how much historical marketing data is analyzed.
  3. Step 3 - Submit: Once all options are configured, click Request Audit. The system will begin processing the audit automatically. No manual follow-up is required.

Audit Statuses Explained:

  • Pending: The audit is still processing. Complex audits or larger HubSpot portals may take additional time.
  • Completed: The audit has finished successfully and is ready for review. You can access it via the Public Link.
  • Failed: There was an issue generating the audit (e.g., API error or timeout). You can re-request the audit if needed.

Audit History Page Overview:

  • View a complete list of all requested audits, their status, and the client they belong to.
  • Open completed audits via the Public Link button.
  • Edit Partner Comments for each audit to add additional notes, context, or recommendations before sharing with clients.
  • Monitor the timestamp of when audits were created and who initiated them.

Partner Comments and Customization:

Each audit allows partners to add custom comments after the audit is completed. These partner comments will appear in the Key Takeaways section of the final audit report.

  • Comments can be added, edited, or removed at any time.
  • The system records who last edited the comments and when.

Audit management is designed to be flexible, transparent, and simple — giving partners full control over how audits are customized and shared with clients.
